What does it mean to be an ESG company?

The acronym "ESG" stands for Environmental, Social and Governance, a concept that has become established in the financial sector as a basis for judging the sustainability of investments. Companies that comply with ESG criteria are characterized on average by better management, sustainability and orientation towards the future, are better equipped to deal with crises and perform better on average than their competitors. Integrating ESG criteria into the analysis has therefore become central: there are many tools available to companies and intended for their Stakeholders and the main one is represented by the Social Report, CSR Report - Corporate Social Responsibility Report, in Italy also known as Sustainability Report .
